privacy

linesong is free, has no ads, no accounts and no analytics or tracking sdks, and needs no sign-in. what you draw stays on your device, unless you share it.

on your device

• your drawings, your settings and your display name stay on your device. we don’t receive them.
• linesong never uses the microphone.
• videos are made entirely on your device. they’re only saved to your gallery when you choose save, which asks for permission first.

share links

• when you create a share link and you’re online, the drawing data is uploaded to linesong.online (hosted on cloudflare) to make a short link. that data is the strokes, the title, the music settings and the display name you chose.
• anyone with the link can open it, play it and remix it.
• links are kept until you ask us to delete them: email [email protected] with the link.
• when you’re offline, the link contains the drawing itself and nothing is uploaded.

on the web

• linesong.online works the same way. what you draw there is kept in your browser, and is only uploaded when you press share.
• opening a short link loads its drawing from linesong.online.

hosting

our hosting provider may log technical data such as ip addresses, for security, as described in cloudflare’s privacy policy.
